Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom Food Poisoning

You can get food poisoning from a pizza restaurant. Nausea and diarrhea are the most commonly reported symptoms from Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom food poisoning. Recently an employee at a location in KY was diagnosed with Hepatitis A and could have passed it on to customers.

I ate the Italian nachos and bone in chicken wings at 8:30 PM Everything tasted fine and around 10 PM I was feeling nauseous. I thought I would sleep it off and at 3 AM I woke up and had to rush to the bathroom. It is now 12:30 PM and I am still experiencing symptoms.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

Went here for dinner with extended family on Saturday March 18. My husband and I ordered a large pizza: half classic, half pepperoni and pineapple (my favorite). Our kids had items from the kids menu, so they didn’t have any pizza. The waiter put the order in, … See More
making sure to ask a coworker that the order was placed correctly. When the food was brought out, he apologized that the kitchen had incorrectly made us a large classic, but assured us they had a new pizza in the oven (with the half and half we had ordered originally). He said they had been having issues with the kitchen staff lately. So, we ended up with two large pizzas for the price of one.
When they handed us plates, they were dirty. had to ask for clean ones.
Since I was waiting for the half with the pepperoni and pineapple, I just waited for the new pizza to come out. But my husband, who hadn’t eaten all day, started eating the classic. It was all he ate that day and he was the only one to eat that particular pizza, so we know the poisoning came from this. Around 10:00 that night he had nausea, followed by some planting daisies. At midnight he was angry vomiting, which continued every hour after that until 8:00 the following morning. He had nausea, chills, and body aches as well, which lasted for two days. No one else in our family got sick, thankfully. We will never eat at this place ever again.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Chills, Body Ache

We originally ordered and ate the double deckeroni pizza on Saturday, May 14th. I had diarrhea that evening. I didn’t know it was from the pizza, so my fiance ate some of the leftovers on Tuesday, May 17th and had diarrhea that night. We still didn’t realize … See More
it was the pizza, so I had another slice today, May 18th, and I developed diarrhea within 2 hours of eating. We finally realized the connection between these symptoms and the pizza, so we are throwing away the rest.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea
