See More in retail supermarkets that are part of the Wakefern Food Corp. cooperative which include ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer and Fairway Market.
The product comes in a 42.3 oz package with the UPC code 0 56210 34217 1 and a best before date of 2024 FE 01 stamped on the side.
The stores have removed the product from shelves. No confirmed illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

Hard-boiled eggs sold at Wal-Mart, Costco, Kroger and more - Possible Listeria Contamination

On December 18th, the FDA notified Almark Foods that Hard-Boiled and Peeled eggs manufactured at the Gainesville, GA facility may be associated with a Listeria monocytogenes outbreak that has been linked to several reported illnesses and one reported death. A more recent FDA sample from the facility... See More also matched the outbreak strain, indicating the possibility that the contamination may still be present.
The hard-boiled eggs were sold nationwide at Wal-Mart, Costco, Kroger, ShopRite, Giant Eagle, LIDL, Fresh Thyme, and more. They could be sold as but not limited to the following brands: 7 Select, Best Choice, Egglands Best, Everyday Essentials, Fresh Thyme, Giant Eagle, Great Day, Great Value, Inspired Organics, Kirkland Signature, Kroger, LIDL, Lucerne, and Members Mark.
Customers who have purchased these products are urged to immediately discard and not consume the products. The affected product can be identified by viewing the printed “Best If Used By” date coding on the product package. If the “Best If Used By” code starts with the prefix “G”, the product was manufactured at the company’s Gainesville, Georgia facility and is subject to this recall.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced the beef recall... See More by Ryding-Regency Meat Packers, Ltd. on Oct 8th for possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. FSIS has determined that the recalled Canadian beef was used in the U.S. to produce raw ground beef products made on May 27 & 30 and distributed for sale.
USDA has urged consumers and institutions in Connecticut, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont to check their freezers for the following products and to throw away or return them to their place of purchase.
