You can get food poisoning from supermarket products. Nausea and diarrhea are the most commonly reported symptoms of ShopRite food poisoning. Cavendish Farms Corporation of Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada, is recalling 441 cases of its 42.3 oz packages of Original Hash Brown Patties because they may contain undeclared wheat. These products were sold in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island... in retail supermarkets that are part of the Wakefern Food Corp. cooperative which include ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer and Fairway Market.
The product comes in a 42.3 oz package with the UPC code 0 56210 34217 1 and a best before date of 2024 FE 01 stamped on the side.
The stores have removed the product from shelves. No confirmed illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
If you have an allergy to wheat do not eat it, it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Please throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.

The New York’s Department of Agriculture and Markets warns consumers about Robinson Fresh brand packaged Turnip Greens due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this product.
The prepackaged “Robinson Fresh Turnip Greens” is packed in a 16 oz.... plastic bag with a Best by Date of 4/26/21 on it. The prepacked Robinson Fresh Turnip Greens was sold at ShopRite in Commack and possibly other retail locations in New York State.
Consumers who have purchased the “Robinson Fresh Turnip Greens” should not consume it and should discard the product or return it to the place of purchase. Consumers with questions may contact Robinson Fresh Customer Service at 855-229-6128.

On December 18th, the FDA notified Almark Foods that Hard-Boiled and Peeled eggs manufactured at the Gainesville, GA facility may be associated with a Listeria monocytogenes outbreak that has been linked to several reported illnesses and one reported death. A more recent FDA sample from the facility... also matched the outbreak strain, indicating the possibility that the contamination may still be present.
The hard-boiled eggs were sold nationwide at Wal-Mart, Costco, Kroger, ShopRite, Giant Eagle, LIDL, Fresh Thyme, and more. They could be sold as but not limited to the following brands: 7 Select, Best Choice, Egglands Best, Everyday Essentials, Fresh Thyme, Giant Eagle, Great Day, Great Value, Inspired Organics, Kirkland Signature, Kroger, LIDL, Lucerne, and Members Mark.
Customers who have purchased these products are urged to immediately discard and not consume the products. The affected product can be identified by viewing the printed “Best If Used By” date coding on the product package. If the “Best If Used By” code starts with the prefix “G”, the product was manufactured at the company’s Gainesville, Georgia facility and is subject to this recall.

The USDA's Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued a public health alert for raw frozen ground beef products sold to consumers at ShopRite stores, as Landis Brand, and more made from beef imported from Ontario, Canada. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced the beef recall... by Ryding-Regency Meat Packers, Ltd. on Oct 8th for possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. FSIS has determined that the recalled Canadian beef was used in the U.S. to produce raw ground beef products made on May 27 & 30 and distributed for sale.
USDA has urged consumers and institutions in Connecticut, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont to check their freezers for the following products and to throw away or return them to their place of purchase.

Me and my 14 year old daughter and I went through the drive through this location jan 7/2023 at 9:30am. We both got bagels with cream cheese and I had a coffee and her an iced coffee.
