You can get food poisoning from steak. The most commonly reported symptoms from Texas Roadhouse food poisoning are nausea and diarrhea. Salmonella is the most commonly reported diagnosis. In April 2018 a Texas Roadhouse in Marietta, GA was also involved in a multistate E. coli outbreak.

we ate at a Texas road house last night in Georgia. my husband had the bone-in ribeye and 4-5 hours later he was violently throwing up, stomach cramps and diarrhea, most of the night last night. This morning, he can not even keep water down, other than that he feels fine. He is not sick, just throwing up, cramps and diarrhea. I ate something different, so I feel fine.

I noticed the place was packed full of people it took me about 2 hours to get my food however when I ate my food I did go to sleep and slept overnight and woke up the next... I ordered food from there with the family and I was violently puking and crapping out a salad soup that could make remie from ratatouille gag. I was puking so hard I actually pooped my pants twice and had the worst night of my life. Me and... See More my family didn’t get any sleep because every 15 minutes we would go drain the swamp, and if necessary wash puke out of our hair and poop from my pants. I had a 6oz sirloin and a salad with steak fry’s. It tasted good but me and my whole family, even those who ate at a different location were taking a closer look at the inside of a toilet bowl while trying to part the sea of our bowels so the food could perform the great exodus from our tortured stomachs. Surprisingly those 2 people who had ordered a burger were fine, and I had a delayed reaction to the food by about three hours. To conclude, I love steak I love salad and I love fries, but today they fought back, as I write this I am fighting my own western front inside my gut.
