A couple of hours after eating Tysons boneless chicken bites i had diarrhea and sharp pains in my stomach thinking nothing of it I went to lay down after falling asleep I woke up to the sharp pains in my stomach hurting a lot worse I drank... some water thinking that would help and a couple minutes later threw up my head is now pounding and I’m curled up in a ball because my stomach hurts so bad | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain

I ate Tyson buffalo chicken strips at 9 am and have horrible diarrhea starting 10 am.
07/21 update: Extreme diarrhea one hour after consumption, I ordered it from Instacart, I think Tyson's chicken at that store is contaminated in general, I once ate their barbecue chicken strips... and same food poisoning terrible diarrhea. Purchased Tyson Apetizers Buffalo Style Hot wings. Cooked longer than instructions for added crispness. About 2 hours later became nauseated & dizzy. Then began vomiting. Abdominal pain, stomach hurting. Then developed diarrhea. The next day still unwell. Treated with deactivated charcoal & colloidal silver. This update was issued to reflect additional date codes and increase product poundage from approximately 8,492,832 pounds to approximately 8,955,296 pounds. The recalled product names and product codes remain the same. While the product was distributed to schools, it resulted from a commercial sale and was not part of food provided by the USDA for the National School Lunch Program.

Tyson Foods recalled approximately 8.5 million pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes
The frozen, fully cooked chicken products were produced between December 26, 2020, and April 13, 2021, but some products may be in consumer and institutional freezers. Consumers should not eat these products. Institutions should not serve these products. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
They were shipped throughout the US including: retailers, institutions, including hospitals, nursing facilities, restaurants, schools, and Department of Defense locations.
Products include frozen, fully cooked chicken strips, diced chicken, chicken wing sections, and fully cooked pizza with chicken
Products were sold under many brands including Tyson, Jet’s Pizza, Casey’s General Store, Marco’s Pizza, and Little Caesars.
Consumption of food contaminated with L. monocytogenes can cause listeriosis, a serious infection that primarily affects older adults, persons with weakened immune systems, and pregnant women and their newborns.
What to do:
Call your healthcare provider if you have these symptoms after eating recalled products:
> If you are pregnant: Fever and muscle aches. Your illness may be mild, but Listeria can cause pregnancy loss or premature birth. It can also cause serious illness or death in newborns.
> If you are not pregnant: Headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance, and convulsions, in addition to fever and muscle aches.

UPDATE Septiembre 10, 2021 CDC announced as of September 10, 2021, this outbreak is over, the investigation is closed. As of this date, a total of 3 people infected with the outbreak strain of Listeria monocytogenes were reported from 2 states: DE and TX. Illnesses started on... dates ranging from April 6, 2021, to June 5, 2021. 3 people were hospitalized and 1 death was reported.
