Getting sick after eating a fast food burger is common. Whataburger food poisoning reports usually contain nausea and diarrhea, with salmonella being the most common diagnosis. Recently a location in Austin, TX was the site of a Hepatitis A scare after an employee tested positive for the virus.

I got the spicy chicken sandwich meal on 12/28/2024. Around seven hours later, I was feeling nauseous, so I went to lie down. In the middle of the night, I would wake up violently ill, vomiting, diarrhea, both wanting out at the same time. I ate half of the Cobb salad from Whataburger when a sudden pain in my stomach made me stop. It progressively got worst with gas until around 1 in the morning when I vomited and diarrhea.
