In flight dining service - first class on 9/28. Grapes from cheese and cracker platter Consumed grapes on flight to Tampa. Illness onset approximately 48 hours later, high fever, body aches, nausea, and bloody diarrhea. Patient admitted to hospital with laboratory confirmed Campylobacter.

Epidemiologist here - please go to the doctor and request a stool sample. This sounds like Shigella or Campylobacter if both you and your dog have it. The only way to implicate the restaurant is through a laboratory stool culture. If it’s laboratory confirmed, the state can investigate. If it’s not laboratory confirmed, they won’t investigate. I hope you and your pup feel better soon. I know it’s not fun, I was there a few years ago!
