If it is a virus, than just take antinausea, antidiarrhea and a lots of fluids (you can easily bring rehydration packets in your suitcase). Don't forget to bring hand sanitizer and to use it before each meals. You can also take probiotic tablets a week before your trip to help your immune system and gut flora. I personnally have talked to many guests of the hotel and those who came prepared didn't get anything, unlike many other guests that weren't.
