My family went to dinner on Sunday. I became violently ill about four to five hours later. I have been sick for three days now with terrible diarrhea and malaise. Another gentleman in our party became very sick as well and describes his symptoms as horrendous.

So sorry you had to go through that. We never really know who is handling our food or if they even care about food safety. My little dog and I have been sick the last two days after eating some Ahi tuna from Walmart. Bacteria is invisible, so there's no way for us to know about the dangers except through reports like yours. So, thank you!

I think I've tried to eat at a Wendy's three times in my entire life - over the span of 50 years or so. Each time I got sick. So I haven't been back again, but I have often wondered if it's possible that they use some kind of additive or preservative or something different in their food than other fast food chains that my system just can't tolerate.

The same thing happened to me at a Panda Express over 20 years ago. I never went back. I don't know how well they follow food safety guidelines.
