I am sad to hear this is still occurring in 2024! I was there in 2014 and almost died from the post food and drink symptoms.
I encountered sepsis and was told a week from death! They found food poisoning and a rare urinary infection names ESBL after my time ar a Punta Cana resort.
The food prep and lack of keeping it at a health-promoting temperature is the large danger combined with the warm climate. This seriously needs to be addressed and corrected!
