Food Safety Report: Lucky Charms, Kroger, West Southport Road, Indianapolis, IN, USA

This happened to me in March 2022. I purchased the St. Patrick's Day special edition box at CVS. This makes me ask, was your box a special edition version? I had it for 8 days. No need to go to the ER. The only treatment they can give that may help you feel better is fluids via IV. I did not have an appetite so I was only eating a cup of LC daily. Once I was able to narrow down what could be the culprit, I immediately started feeling better because I stopped eating them! Who knew the magically delicious cereal could make you so sick? I loved LC! If you let General Mills know, they will send you coupons for 2 free boxes of......Lucky Charms! Seriously? I hope you feel better.

Food Safety Report: Lucky Charms, CVS, 1616 East 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN, USA

I just remembered my box of Lucky Charms had a Pokémon card included at the bottom of the box. My son found it as I was throwing out the box. Interestingly, when I complained to General Mills they asked me if it was the St. Patrick’s day LC box. I have no idea? Does anyone know if there was a special LC box/theme tied to St Patrick’s day and did it include a Pokémon card? If you had that box, did you get sick?

Update: I completed a form on the General Mills website alerting them to my illness. They sent me 3 coupons for free boxes of Lucky Charms (up to $6 only per coupon!!). As if I would want to eat them again? Then I read this article this morning and from the way it reads, GM is not claiming responsibility because the cereal is cooked before it leaves the plant. See article link below. I can send them my hospital bill if they want. Anybody want free coupons for Lucky Charms? 🤣
