After we had gotten home, I started to feel really off, as did another family member, but I had thought that I’d eaten too much and everything would work itself out. The next day, I woke up feeling twice as bad as the previous day, and only got worse as the day progressed. chicken as well. Been getting sick with cramping, diarrhea, and pale skin since then. Saw the same stuff coming out in my stools that was in the meat. I repeat…do NOT get meat or any other products from Meijer stores. This is no joke. I’ve been looking into it. They are now selling products like steamed vegetables with “seasonings” on them that are definitely not edible. Found stringy substances in the butter and sliced cheese when melted. Gravel/broken glass texture stuff in the burritos which caused horrible tooth pain for a couple weeks. Stopped eating there and it all stopped. I was there for spring break vacation with my family & couldn’t even do everything we planned due to me being stuck in my hotel most of the time! I felt very sick and had major stomach pains, horrible diarrhea, sweats, achy body & nauseous for a couple hours. It made me suffer when I should be making memories & having a fun filled day with my loved ones, unfortunately I had to end up cutting my vacation short bc I didn’t feel good for days. There is actually a Norovirus going around that is flying across the US. It hits very suddenly. My husband and I ate dinner and were both absolutely fine. He got up and started helping to clean up and BOOM, out of nowhere, it hit him. Safe with my 2 friends. He went to work and was fine. All of the sudden at 10:30 it hit him like a brick and she was fine at her work and about 2 or 3 hours after it hit him like a brick it hit her. It hits like a tornado. Read your CDC reports online.
