Boston Market, West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL, United States

16251 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, 33160 Florida, United States

My family all had chicken dishes and I was the only one who had turkey. Halfway through my meal I got bad stomach pains, thinking they were mentrual cramps, but 45 minutes after finished my meal,
I threw up two times in the shower, as well as diarrhea. I drank 7 Up and water, all but chugging it because I was so thirsty, then threw that up a half hour later. I had bad diarrhea all night, got lightheaded if I walked around too much, had stomach pains from vomiting. Ended up going to urgent care and got some prescriptions for intestinal pain and diarrhea. Feel better the second day, but never had any sort of food poisoning while eating out. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Lightheaded

Jan 21, symptoms of projectile vomiting occurred Jan 22 -23 I believe it came from my Doordarshan Boston Market food and specifically spinach souffle or sweet potatoes casserole I am a 24/7 caregiver for my elderly 96 years old mother. I prepare most of our meals. I... See More rarely order Doordash but did so Sunday, 1-21. We ate at 6:30 pm. My mother had chicken, reg. mashed pot. and gravy. I ate chicken, spinach souffle and sweet potato casserole. I made pancakes for both of us the next morning . . .at approximately 10:30 I started to get nauseous and by 11:30 I began projectile vomiting. I had numerous episodes and suffered extreme hot/freezing cold chill episodes in between vomiting. At about 8 pm my sister attempted to take me to the er, however when I got there, the er had a 6-1/2 hour wait. Vomiting did not subside until around 4am. By that time, diaria had kicked in. I finally felt the nausea lift around 6:30 pm on Tuesday, 1-23. I would like to point out that my mother did not get sick at all and would not have survived a food poisoning like I experienced.. I ordered Boston Market through Door Dash on Sunday 1-21-24 and confirmed with Door Dash that my meal came from the Park Ridge location for Boston Market | Symptoms: Vomiting, Nausea, Other See Less

Raja Foods LLC of Skokie, Il is recalling its 3.5 ounce package of "SWAD CINNAMON POWDER" because it has the potential to be contaminated with lead. Product was distributed thru retail grocery stores in the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast regions of the United States. There have been... See More no illnesses reported to date.

Short-term exposure to very low levels of lead may not elicit any symptoms. It is possible that increased blood levels may be the only apparent sign of lead exposure. Additional signs and symptoms of lead exposure are more likely with acute exposures to higher levels of lead or chronic exposure to lead. While lead can affect nearly every bodily system, its effects depend upon the amount and duration of lead exposure and age/body weight. If a child is exposed to lead for a protracted period of time (e.g., weeks to months) permanent damage to the central nervous system may occur. This can result in learning disorders, developmental defects, and other long-term health problems. For adults, chronic lead exposure is associated with kidney dysfunction, hypertension, and neurocognitive effects.

The products included in this recall are, SWAD BRAND CINNAMON POWDER in clear plastic 3.5 OZ bags, UPC 0-51179-34280-4, from either of the following two batches and Best Before Dates: Batch KX21223 Best Before July 2026 and Batch KX08123 Best Before March 2026.

The recall was the result of a routine sampling program by the FDA.

Consumers who have purchased “SWAD CINNAMON POWDER 3.5OZ” are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

If you are experiencing symptoms after eating this product it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist seek medical attention.

About 24 hours ago on March 12th I purchased chicken breast at Publix on rivers edge. When I got home I cooked it. Because I was cooking other dishes and using seasoning, I didn't initially realize the smell. I took a bite out of the chicken and... See More it tasted absolutely disgusting. It tasted completely off. I smelled the chicken more closely and it smelled vaguely rotten. The smell got worse after about 15 minutes as the chicken cooled. I called the store and they apologize, gave me a refund, and accepted my return of all the other chicken that I purchased that day. I am concerned that there is a bigger issue at hand, either at the store where the chicken is not being kept correctly, or in transport. It makes no sense that chicken that was supposed to be good for another week was immediately rotten when I had purchased it from the store that same day. Now, 24 hours later, I'm experiencing nausea and gi issues. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting See Less

My family and I visited Tahini in Mahogany Plaza on March 5th. I had the Gyro Shawarma, and my kids shared a Jamaican Jerk Chicken Shawarma. Unfortunately, we all felt sick about 20 minutes after eating. When I called to inform them, the response from the staff... See More was dismissive, which was concerning given the seriousness of food making people ill.

I'm sharing our experience to caution others potentially considering this establishment. Despite their claims of offering healthy food, our experience suggests otherwise. There are many genuinely healthy dining options in the Mahogany area, and I recommend exploring those instead. Based on this experience, we won't be returning to Tahini. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
