11/08/2020 - purchased an apple/cranberry pie at this orchard. Have been there before. Nice place. Always clean. However, after eating 2 slices of the pie early on in the day (morning time), I later (mid-afternoon) began to have severe stomach cramps, got very sweaty (hot flashes), slight fever (101), became nauseated. Early evening I began vomiting very profusely. The vomit was very chunky and had like a cream-colored mucus looking material mixed in with it. Later on that evening, the diarrhea began. Looking back over what I had eaten that day, I assumed that it may have come from "creamer/milk" that I used at a Sheetz store in my coffee. I later found out that it was the pie. How do I know? I spent all day Monday (the day after) resting, drinking fluids slowly. I ate some toast to get something in me. All was fine an slowly getting back to normal. But then I ate a piece of "the pie". Within 3-4 hours, everything started all over again, exactly as it had the day before. I am almost fully convinced it is the pie. I have saved a sample of the pie as well as a stool sample which was taken near the end of the diarrhea. Unfortunately, I did not obtain a sample of the vomit. I do not want to point a finger at anyone but it is almost 100% clear to me that the symptoms only begin after eating the pie. I'm not sure what to do from this point but I lay awake with concern that this orchard sells many, MANY pies in a day, plus other apple/fruit related items.....all made with the same fruit grown at the orchard and used in all their items. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Other, Fever, Sweating, Cramps, Mucus in Stools1 week ago •reported by user-mvjy8811
