on our way home. All five (5) of us ordered chicken, but only three (3) of the five (5) ordered a milkshake. The three (3) who ordered the milkshake fell violently ill, with the exact same symptoms and at the same time, exactly thirty-six (36) hours later. They range in age from 12 - 80 years old. It is now four (4) days since the onset of symptoms, and they have not subsided. The two of us who had a soft drink in lieu of the milkshake are fine. Given we spent the weekend together, traveled together, and ate the same food, the only variant and potential culprit is the milkshake. Either the container was handled by an unclean or unwell individual or the milkshake prep area is improperly cleaned and/or contaminated. I bought a burger and fries from Culver’s to hold me over till Xmas Eve dinner. Within 1-2 hours I started feeling crappy and no possible way was I able to eat the prime rib meal my family served. My stomach felt off and I became so lethargic I fell asleep on the couch and missed my family celebration. I tossed and turned all night and likely had a fever. Upon waking I vomited and felt somewhat better. I was still tired and achey and by evening the runs started which had me making several trips to the bathroom. The next morning my fever was low grade and I continued to feel better but still weak from not eating but started to feel More normal after eating breakfast. During this episode I drank coconut water to stay hydrated. I also took Florastar probiotic which helps with the runs. Organic is when the bird wasn't fed or injected with the growth hormone that makes it become a bigger size faster than usual time, etc, however it doesn't necessarily mean the food is safe to eat. From what I see the colours (an excessive red and dark) of those chicken don't seem normal to me, also the air inside the frozen bag could be an indicator of microbial growth, so it's better not to eat the second one.
