on our way home. All five (5) of us ordered chicken, but only three (3) of the five (5) ordered a milkshake. The three (3) who ordered the milkshake fell violently ill, with the exact same symptoms and at the same time, exactly thirty-six (36) hours later. They range in age from 12 - 80 years old. It is now four (4) days since the onset of symptoms, and they have not subsided. The two of us who had a soft drink in lieu of the milkshake are fine. Given we spent the weekend together, traveled together, and ate the same food, the only variant and potential culprit is the milkshake. Either the container was handled by an unclean or unwell individual or the milkshake prep area is improperly cleaned and/or contaminated. I was there for spring break vacation with my family & couldn’t even do everything we planned due to me being stuck in my hotel most of the time! I felt very sick and had major stomach pains, horrible diarrhea, sweats, achy body & nauseous for a couple hours. It made me suffer when I should be making memories & having a fun filled day with my loved ones, unfortunately I had to end up cutting my vacation short bc I didn’t feel good for days. There is actually a Norovirus going around that is flying across the US. It hits very suddenly. My husband and I ate dinner and were both absolutely fine. He got up and started helping to clean up and BOOM, out of nowhere, it hit him. Safe with my 2 friends. He went to work and was fine. All of the sudden at 10:30 it hit him like a brick and she was fine at her work and about 2 or 3 hours after it hit him like a brick it hit her. It hits like a tornado. Read your CDC reports online.
