on our way home. All five (5) of us ordered chicken, but only three (3) of the five (5) ordered a milkshake. The three (3) who ordered the milkshake fell violently ill, with the exact same symptoms and at the same time, exactly thirty-six (36) hours later. They range in age from 12 - 80 years old. It is now four (4) days since the onset of symptoms, and they have not subsided. The two of us who had a soft drink in lieu of the milkshake are fine. Given we spent the weekend together, traveled together, and ate the same food, the only variant and potential culprit is the milkshake. Either the container was handled by an unclean or unwell individual or the milkshake prep area is improperly cleaned and/or contaminated. At noon, I ate a bag of Hershey mixed flavored chocolate that I bought at Dollar General the day before. After sleeping, I felt nauseous, wanted to throw up, and had a very upset stomach. Then I looked at other things at Dollar General (one near Poinsett State Park) yesterday and found that the contact lens care solution actually expired on March 1st. Face wash and makeup remover also don't have a shelf life at all. Therefore, it is suspected that the chocolate has expired, but since it is a pouch, the packaging has been thrown away. I would have extreme diarrhea. So today I pooped and noticed I pooped a lot, this is my 3rd round of pooping after flushing 2 other consecutive rounds. Im finding what looks like it could be parasites but I never had that happen before nor know if that’s what they look like if they even come out of your rectum. I’m looking harder and it seems like it may be noodles and bean sprouts and scallions that didn’t get digested. That definitely look like it was the Trader Joe’s frozen vegetable pad Thai.
