Chow Mei Mei, Avenue Place, Atlanta, GA, United States

1540 Avenue Place, Atlanta, 30329 Georgia, United States

On separate occasions in September 2015, one week apart, my boyfriend and I ate Sesame Chicken at Chow Mei Mei and within 48hrs experienced severe bloody diarrhea that required multiple visits to the doctor. Salmonella serotype I 4,[5],12:i:- was confirmed by a diagnostics laboratory. I missed over a week of work, had two courses of antibiotics, and received IV fluids three times. I suspect the chicken was undercooked or contaminated after cooking via utensils, cutting boards, etc. However, there was recently an outbreak of Salmonella serotype I 4,[5],12:i:- associated with WA pork products. We also ate eggrolls that (I believe) contained pork. Whatever the case, do not eat here! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea
