The only way that would have got you sick is through cross contamination most likely from pathogens from necrotic flesh like meat eggs or dairy. That could have happened when they were packaging this food but it also could have happened from your own kitchen if you have those items in your kitchen.

The products, which contain soy, sulphites, peanuts, or tree nuts, were sold without proper allergen labeling. The issue was discovered during … See More
routine inspections by MAPAQ. The products were sold at Nordest Butchery, its boutique at the Jean-Talon market located at 7070 Henri Julien Avenue, Montreal, QC, Canada, and potentially through the Lufa Farms website. No allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled products include "Honey and Garlic Chicken Wings" (containing soy), "Korean Style Marinade Beef Strips" and "Korean Style Marinade Chicken Strips" (containing sulphites), and "Meatloaf" (potentially containing soy, peanuts, and tree nuts). These items were sold in unitary format, and all batches lacking allergen information are subject to recall. The products were vacuum-packed in transparent plastic pouches and sold frozen.

Do not consume recalled products that you are allergic or sensitive to, as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction; and do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products. We recommend returning it to the store where it was purchased.
