I woke up in the middle of the night having the worst stomach ache. I thought I was going to throw up and p**p at the same time. I ran to the bathroom , I’m half asleep and I don’t know what’s going on with me. I’m crying in pain , nothing’s happening. I lay back down to sleep it off and the pain gets worse. I’m releasing very loud gas and it’s hurting so I ran back to the bathroom and nothing again. Once more same thing happens, and this time I have such bad diarrhea I thought I was going to pass out from the pain in my stomach. I’m shaking with chills and feel so sick. I check my temperature but it seems normal. I did some research and found out it is Norovirus. I’m so upset. first to get sick with short symptoms (one night) that contained vomiting every other hour from 7 pm until 4 am. The afternoon of the 6th, I exhibited headaches in which immediately turned into me going to bed and experiencing stomach pains, then lead to diarrhea, then lead to vomit from 4 pm until 7 am the next day (the 7th). The husband got sick on the 6th at around 8 pm experiencing more violent vomit, diarrhea, weakness and no desire to move. The oldest toddler got sick on the 7th at around 9 am with violent coughing and vomit spells that lasted until 9 pm. As I write this, on the 8th in the morning, I am the one to first recover. I’m okay just hungry like a horse now. Rest of family has slept through the night on the 7th into the morning. So that’s also good.
