Pei Wei, Watauga, TX, USA

7520 W Denton Highway 632, Watauga, 76148 Texas, United States

I ate at Pei Wei Watauga, TX ON Friday June 8, 2018 at approximately 6:15...
I ordered and ate Won Ton Soup and Mongolian Beef with fried Rice with a bottle of Kirin Beer. Ate at approx. 6:15 pm and within about 40 minutes I was doubled over in excruciating pain, diarrhea, beads of sweat rolling down forehead. Just awful for the next several hours and into next morning. I called a few days later to let the manager know how sick I had gotten after eating at his establishment and he immediately said, “people have been eating here all day the same food and they were not sick.” I will NEVER GO BACK TO THAT LOCATION AGAIN.” That location has gone nowhere but downhill and appears to be poorly run, is filthy, and now that I think about it the manager I observed was on his employees to clean the place up. I mentioned to him that I had to clean the seat I was sitting in because there was sticky stuff on the seat and food on floor and in between the seat cushion. He said he just took over this location and will try and make sure they clean up after each customer. My concern since I got terribly ill is with the sanitation practices at the Pei Wei in Watauga on Denton Hwy. If the appearance of the dining area isn’t up to par God knows what the kitchen looks like. This location should probably have a visit from the Health Department. Oh, and the Manager told me this location has never been written up before. Looks like another customer wrote a complaint regarding this same Pei Wei on Iwaspoisoned.com website June 6, 2018 3:39 pm- just 2 days before my incident hmmmmm.... | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea
