Salad products sold at Aldi, Domino's, Target, and more recalled due to possible E. coli contamination

FSIS announced today that Missa Bay, LLC is recalling more than 95,000 pounds of different salad products (containing meat and poultry) as they might be contaminated with E.coli O157:H7. This recall is part of an ongoing multistate outbreak investigation were 17 people have been reported sick with this E. coli strain so far.

FSIS advises that these products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. The recalled products bear establishment number “EST. 18502B” inside the USDA mark of inspection, were produced from October 14, 2019 through October 16, 2019, and distributed to AL, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, VA, and WI.

The recalled products include salad products sold under the following brands Aldi, Bonduelle, Domino's, Giant Eagle, Marketside, Sam's club, Signature, Target, and many others. You can check the full recalled product list here fsis.usda.gov
