My husband and I went to Subway on Barton Blvd for lunch Monday April 24th. We ordered a foot long tuna sub. The young man making the sub pulled a container if tuna from the fridge behind him then stopped and grabbed one from below in front of him below the counter. He smeared what was left in the container from below the counter on half the sandwich and the other half got the tuna from the fridge behind him. When I was at the register and was finishing my transaction the young man who made the tuna sandwich looked toward the register worker and said "no wait..." we all kinda looked at him...there was 2 other sandwiches beinging topped after mine and he then looked at the girl doing the toppings and the 2 sandwiches and then shook his head and said no more. I completed my purchase. My husband and I sat there in the store and ate our sandwich. When I returned to work I didn't feel well and just thought it was indigestion and tried a carbonated drink to help me burb and release the gas in my stomach. By 8:30 that night I was violently vomiting and having diarrhea. It started with sharp abdominal pains and some back pain and I almost thought I was having a gall bladder attack. But once the vomiting and diarrhea started witg spiking fever I knew it was food poisoning. Two days out of work and alot of rest between trips to the toilet. I'd much rather cut grass with scissors! World Green Nutrition, Inc is announcing the expansion of their January 12, 2024 recall to include GREEN ELV NUTRITION brand Elv Control Herbal Supplement 90 capsules, due to the presence of yellow oleander, a poisonous plant native to Mexico and Central America. The product is only sold … See More
through authorized distributors and not through e-commerce platforms or in physical stores, since World Green Nutrition does not make sales through these means and they are not authorized sales channels. To date, this company has not received reports of illnesses related to the consumption of this product; however, the recall from the market began after the FDA found it to contain Yellow Oleander.

For easier identification of the product in question, it is noted that it comes in a white container; blue lid; and marked with the batch’s: N1082701 (EXP: 050328), GESPM240622 (EXP: 071324), GESPM300622 (EXP:071324), GESPM050722 (EXP:071324), 190620230009B (EXP:061928), 190620231573678B (EXP:062828) and 280620231573678BA (EXP:062828).

Consumers should stop consuming the recalled products. Consumers who have purchased the recalled lots of ELV Control Herbal Supplement 90 capsules can return them to the place where they made their purchase to obtain an exchange for another product marketed by the company. Consumers with questions can contact the company.

The consumption of yellow oleander can cause adverse effects on neurological, gastrointestinal, and cardiovascular health that can be serious or even fatal. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, abdominal pain, heart changes, arrhythmia, and more.

At noon, I ate a bag of Hershey mixed flavored chocolate that I bought at Dollar General the day before. After sleeping, I felt nauseous, wanted to throw up, and had a very upset stomach. Then I looked at other things at Dollar General (one near Poinsett State Park) yesterday and found that the contact lens care solution actually expired on March 1st. Face wash and makeup remover also don't have a shelf life at all. Therefore, it is suspected that the chocolate has expired, but since it is a pouch, the packaging has been thrown away.
