Wife decided to try Impossible Burger “ground beef” pack where you can make your own patties. Rolled them into meatball style and cooked them that way to eat with spaghetti. About 20 minutes after eating she began to fall ill with stomach cramps, nausea, and urge to vomit. About 30 minutes later she threw up and started to experience what could be described as an allergic reaction. Nausea, swelling of the throat, ears, and overwhelming mucus. My wife has always been known to have an iron stomach and no food allergies. The noodles and pasta sauce were all things we have had before a dozen times over, with the impossible beef being the only outlier. After looking online at reviews and others reporting in it seems that this has happened to other people as well. I’m not sure what foreign stuff is in this but she ain’t touching this with a 10ft pole. I’m sitting in the emergency room with her right now trying to get her back to normal. Well this chicken made me sick again, and the overdone mozzarella sticks. My son got dizzy and a headache. Symptoms started about 5 hours later after eating. Even when I first got back in my car after eating, I burped and threw up in my mouth. It was disgusting. I have a bad headache and other muscle headaches, and feel nauseous enough to throw up, but haven’t yet. Hot flashes and cold flashes. Their management was terrible. The products, which contain soy, sulphites, peanuts, or tree nuts, were sold without proper allergen labeling. The issue was discovered during … See More
routine inspections by MAPAQ. The products were sold at Nordest Butchery, its boutique at the Jean-Talon market located at 7070 Henri Julien Avenue, Montreal, QC, Canada, and potentially through the Lufa Farms website. No allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled products include "Honey and Garlic Chicken Wings" (containing soy), "Korean Style Marinade Beef Strips" and "Korean Style Marinade Chicken Strips" (containing sulphites), and "Meatloaf" (potentially containing soy, peanuts, and tree nuts). These items were sold in unitary format, and all batches lacking allergen information are subject to recall. The products were vacuum-packed in transparent plastic pouches and sold frozen.

Do not consume recalled products that you are allergic or sensitive to, as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction; and do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products. We recommend returning it to the store where it was purchased.

I started experiencing intestinal cramps. Then, when we got back to the hotel, the nausea started. That's when my spouse told me she had been feeling ill as well. She was the first to vomit and I followed there after. We struggled to finish packing for the morning flight. We only had fluids in the form of water and apple juice for the entire journey. She only experienced nausea, intestinal cramps and vomiting. I on the other hand had all the symptoms including chills, nausea, intestinal cramps, vomiting, fever and diarrhea.
