A suspected outbreak of norovirus has been reported at the Devon Cliffs holiday park in Sandy Bay. At this time, it is unclear how many people are feeling unwell and if anyone has tested positive for norovirus. The Royal Devon NHS trust is continuing to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

I took a a few bites from the sandwich and all of sudden tasted something that seemed like really spoiled food or just not something that should ever be eaten. I had barely begun eating and started throwing up chunks of the sandwich that then got stuck in my throat. The choking was extremely severe and this was the first time I have ever vomited without any nausea or onset of feeling sick/warning. The choking caused an extremely bad subconjunctival hemorrhaging in my eye. I kept the remaining pieces of the sandwich stored away in my freezer in an abundance of caution. The Scarpetta brand Pink Pesto is packed in a plastic container. The lot code is located on the bottom of the container. The lot codes are NN149 expiring on 5/02/2023 and NN164 expiring on 12/09/2023 for a total of 906 units.
The recall was initiated after the firm discovered that product containing tree nuts were distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of pine nuts. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a document-control deviation.
If you have an allergy to pine nuts do not eat it, it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Please throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
