Food Safety Report: Publix Super Market at Moncks Corner Marketplace, U.S. 52, Moncks Corner, SC, USA

What you are describing sounds like a food allergy. My daughter has many many allergies and has to carry an Epipen. Google anaphylaxis. Many doctors especially ER doctors think anaphylaxis only happens when your tongue swells and your throat closes. This is not true. Feelings of anxiety, GI symptoms, angioedema, hives, swelling of the tongue, all of the symptoms can happen alone or together rapidly or slowly. I have seen it personally with my daughter. She is now 23, but started around 6th grade. Wasn’t diagnosed until we found an allergist who was trained well enough to figure out what was happening to her. You can develop allergies to things from frequent exposure. So the fact that this is an elderly lady is not surprising she developed the allergy after frequent exposure to it.
