Okay I set the bar really low with chemical contamination since the McD french fry case last year. So the pickles, the breading, or the ranch, right? Does that sound like a promising root cause investigation? I guess what I want to know why it's considered meaningful counter-disinfo discourse to claim that 'contamination can occur', without requesting any additional information from OP. Are you telling me you work in support and read hundreds of flagged comments weekly, but see hazy, month-old food poisoning claims against a business as less harmful than a user pointing out that this is an extremely unlikely food poisoning source? Isn't it in your interest to request the OP to further investigate potential sources?
'Contamination can still occur'. Would the counter-disinformation specialist be able to provide supporting documentation for biological/chemical contamination incidences in freshly deep-fried foods?
'Passing out' as a symptom is crazy. Was alcohol also involved in this Sonic run? A pickle fry is one of the least likely items to get you sick. It's a preserved product that is deep-fried, several kill steps involved. Unless you started to feel numbness from botulism in the pickle, you and your bestie were likely exposed to something else.
Dude you are kinda proving my point here, those are all different food products, made by different facilities, stored in different conditions, and subjected to different mitigation steps. You lumped pizza into this? Now, your county doesn't post its Food Safety Inspection reports, just the scores. Walmart got a 98. If you want to persuade the health department that you are getting sick from the walmart meat section, bring an infrared thermometer and snap a photo of the temps in the warmest part of the case. I used to bring in a probe thermometer and just buy up the meat that I sampled, but that was on the company card. If this can't be traced to Walmart I just want to emphasize that you still have something in your lifestyle that is making your family sick. Do you want to hedge your family's health on you following the correct trail in your root cause investigation?
At #6 it's not walmart, it's you. The Establishment number for the plant is on there, you can look them up on FSIS. They've never had a mandatory recall. Can you show us the recipe and what the food looked like cooked? Can you think of any common ingredients between all the meats you cooked?
Can you be more specific on how quickly you all got sick? How long did the illness last? It's pretty unlikely that you all got sick from the commonalities between personal pan pizzas. I mean you got pesto so no red sauce, right? That just leaves cooked pizza dough and olive oil. Did you and your coworkers share any other meals in the prior three days?
