Walmart Meat Illness Recurrence - Walmart, Radcliff Kentucky

11 months ago reported by user-qdmt4467 business

Walmart Supercenter, Walmart Way, Radcliff, KY, USA

1165 Walmart Way, Radcliff, 40160 Kentucky, United States

I bought a four pound chuck steak from Walmart, Radcliff KY, and froze it when I got home. I took it out of the Freezer and put it in the bottom of my fridge to defrost on Friday. Yesterday, Saturday after cutting the steak and cooking it in a stew, me and my three son got violently ill again. This is sixth case of food poisoning that me and my sons have contracted after buying meat products from the Walmart in Radcliff KY | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting

At #6 it's not walmart, it's you. The Establishment number for the plant is on there, you can look them up on FSIS. They've never had a mandatory recall. Can you show us the recipe and what the food looked like cooked? Can you think of any common ingredients between all the meats you cooked?

user-xqff6676

The common denominator is the Walmart meat section. First it was their boneless chicken thighs, then their chicken, then their Marketside pizza, then their Marketside raw sausage and finally their Angus beef. I just came back to the US after 20 years in Germany and never once got food poisoning.

Dude you are kinda proving my point here, those are all different food products, made by different facilities, stored in different conditions, and subjected to different mitigation steps. You lumped pizza into this? Now, your county doesn't post its Food Safety Inspection reports, just the scores. Walmart got a 98. If you want to persuade the health department that you are getting sick from the walmart meat section, bring an infrared thermometer and snap a photo of the temps in the warmest part of the case. I used to bring in a probe thermometer and just buy up the meat that I sampled, but that was on the company card. If this can't be traced to Walmart I just want to emphasize that you still have something in your lifestyle that is making your family sick. Do you want to hedge your family's health on you following the correct trail in your root cause investigation?
