We were travelling as a group of four myself, husband and friends a husband and wife team.During our travels we had eaten the same meals without any problems, on our journey home we stopped at Paul on the A10 for lunch. Myself and friends husband ate a sandwich of Jambon, pesto & Tomato.
We ate nothing else different during the journey and returned to our individual addresses. Within the early hours of the following morning both myself and my friends husband suffered violent effects of food poisoning vomiting, diarrhea, requiring numerous visits to the bathroom. These symptoms persisted throughout the following day resulting in considerable discomfort and inability to go far from a bathroom. Leaving symptoms of weakness and exhaustion.
My husband and friends wife suffered no such symptoms. I can only conclude the only item my friends husband and I ate in common and was different from our partners the Jambon, pesto,tomato sandwich purchased.
To date the Paul store have not responded.
