On today, March 30, 2026 at the TACONGANAS on Cooper Ave and Central Ave, at 11:38am (during my lunch), I placed my order as I normally would, and noticed one of the male workers eating. My issue is not with him eating by any means, but I had a problem with him eating tacos, of course with his hands, with the same gloves he later used to prepare my food with! He wiped his mouth with the same gloves, after eating, and proceeded to prepare my order (with the same gloves) and he restocked the cheese items. Instead of pouring the shredded cheese into the containers, he scooped it out with his hands, again, with the same gloves he used while eating, never changing them! And then he used his shirt to wipe his mouth again...At this point I was absolutely floored. Enough was Enough! I kindly addressed the issue with the young lady that took my order. She spoke to him, in Spanish, and she then told me she would have it remade...At this point I don't trust this establishment and did not want anything from them. I have also witnessed an employee taking out the trash with the same gloves on, come back into the establishment and prepared food, with the same gloves on!!! SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE WITH THE FOOD INDUSTRY! This is one of the main reasons people are getting sick, hepatitis, covid, and who knows what else that is being transferred! This kind of behavior makes my eating out choices more slimmer each day. I will continue to report situations such as this one on any and every Social Media platform that will hear me. From what I have read this is not the only incident at this establishment, just a different location. Disgusting and Unacceptable!
