Update to my original report. Given our symptoms (acute onset of nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea), I *think* we could have gotten a Norovirus infection. Given the incubation period of Norovirus, which is 1-2 days, we could have been exposed to Norovirus at the meal we had BEFORE Domilise's. This was at Gumbo Shop in the French Quarter.
It's surprising that we could have gotten infected from eating at such popular restaurants, but you never know how old that gumbo and jambalaya is.
