In St. Augustine, Aunt Kate's at 612 Euclid Ave. was temporarily closed on Sept. 7 after inspectors found 24 roaches spilling out from underneath a 10-burner stove and one roach coming from underneath a cooler drawer. A stop sale was issued on food due to temperature abuse, and the restaurant was also cited for accumulation of mold inside the ice machine and around soda dispensing nozzles, dead roaches on premises and soiled floors and floor drains. A follow-up inspection on Sept. 8 extended the time on replacing the floors, and the restaurant reopened.Source: www.bizjournals.com
