Approximately 20 minutes after eating at North Italia restaurant, meal (ricotta cavatelli pasta with lump crab and shrimp), I developed immediate abdominal discomfort followed by severe bloating and painful cramping. Since onset (now ~3 days), symptoms have persisted and include: * Abdominal bloating and distension * Intermittent cramping / “inflamed gut” sensation * Ongoing gastrointestinal discomfort, especially after eating * Occasional mild chills Defined as “acute gastrointestinal” symptoms that began suddenly on Friday night, and now is Tuesday night with only slight improvement.
