On March 8th 2026 at about 9:55 PM, I received my Doordash order for Sushi Yama's chicken katsu, miso soup, and key lime pie. The next day, I woke up with a stomach infection that lasted a bit longer than a week, and caused me to miss my finals before spring break. I believe it is the chicken katsu that caused this infection, as I had also ordered the chicken katsu from this same location on February 25th 2026, and I felt sick the next day as well. I also did not eat my key lime pie dessert until the next day as I was too sick to eat it after finishing the katsu, and I gave the soup to my mom who didn't report feeling sick afterwards.
