Fish purchased I bought a medium size red snapper and 4 bream on yesterday 8/5/19 at 6:20 pm. It was transaction #486471. My husband cleaned the fish over because he said that it was still scaly and guts were inside. It was about 8pm then because I had other errands to run. I finally went to the sink in the kitchen to see what he was talking about. He was right the fish did have a lite smell. The red snaper was falling apart and was little fishy. However, I rinsed it again and it seemed to be ok. Therefore he cooked it. I guess it was aboug 9:15 when I finally sat down to eat.At 11:45 is when the nausea started. At 12:15 I was so nauseated I decided to take so pesto bismol. About 10 mins later I started to vomit, tried to catch it in my hand, however. I vomited on my rug on the walls, on the tile floor, in the bathroom sink.
Finally I was able to get on the commode and then the diarrhea started. I was up all fighting those symptoms of food poisoning.
I finally got to bed around 4:30.
I got to sleep after CBS news came on. I finally woke my husband up to tell him he may have to take me to the ER.
I took the fish (frozen) back to the store and the manager informed me that (our policy states that the fish should be brought back the same day. I am not sure if that is posted some where.in the store or not
I paid $4.99/lb. for the bream and $6.99 for the red snaper. I told the manager the entire situation. I know it was the fish because it was the only thing that I ate. Other family members ate cat fish
