Closure Date: 05-12-2020One of Hull’s best known restaurants has been forced to close due to hygiene concerns. The restaurant was visited by environmental health inspectors from Hull City Council on Tuesday (May 12) following a complaint from a member of the public.
A Hygiene Emergency Prohibition Notice has been posted on the premises which is currently shuttered. It says:
-Premises is dirty throughout. No food management system. Food stored at risk of cross contamination.
-High risk food stored at unsafe temperature. Dirty equipment and utensils. No evidence of staff training.
-Staff toilet opens directly into room where food is stored. No soap or hot water at wash basin.
