My husband and I had the seafood po-boy at Domilise's on November 7. I am 20 weeks pregnant and got sick within a few hours with persistent vomiting. My husband got sick the next day with an upset stomach. This was the last meal we had in New Orleans, and got sick immediately after, so we think it was the cause of sickness. We spoke to the doctor over the phone, and were advised to watch for worsening symptoms, consume plenty of fluids and rest over the next 24 hours. | Symptome: Durchfall, Übelkeit, Erbrechen

Update to my original report. Given our symptoms (acute onset of nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea), I *think* we could have gotten a Norovirus infection. Given the incubation period of Norovirus, which is 1-2 days, we could have been exposed to Norovirus at the meal we had BEFORE Domilise's. This was at Gumbo Shop in the French Quarter. It's surprising that we could have gotten infected from eating at such popular restaurants, but you never know how old that gumbo and jambalaya is.
