We can't confirm what made us ill weather it was the pool, the drinks or the food. However on day 4 we just sat down to dinner when I got a fever and sever pain in my back and stomach. We went back to our room and that was me for the remainder of my 10 remaining days and for a further 7 days when I got home to the UK. My husband took it on day 8 and he also had it for around a week after we returned. Our friends who came from Canada for a week 1 took it on day 6 and his wife took it on day 8 the 1st day home. As with us and many many other travellers it came on with a fever severe back pain and stomach cramps. Hotel wasn't interested in helping and failed to get us a doctor.
