Hot dog cart Manhattan corner of 7th ave in front of park central hotel Me and my fiancé each ate a hot dog from this cart on Thursday nov 29th and 7 hours later he felt very hot/fevered as we atttended a broadway show. Went back to hotel. He threw up for 6 straight hours. I have never seen vomiting to this extent. Not to be gross.. but it was like something out of a horror movie. I spent that night and all if the next day & that night which was our vacation...running back and forth to the market to retrieve items needed for him. Just to note: He had two hotdogs. I had only had one.He had fever, chills, diarrhea, vomiting, cramps , aches , headache, dizzy, and weakness. Constant hot then cold.
Our flight home was Saturday morning
( yesterday ). I started to feel sick before boarding our flight. Needless to say. I experienced the same when we arrived. I was up all night last night. I slept all day today and just ate a piece of dry toast for the first time! We are both young healthy and fit. Mine didn’t last as long as his did... but I thought I was going to die. I cannot imagine how his felt !!! Advice to anyone that goes through this. Push the Gatorade and stay hydrated. Sodas even sprite and saltines will not help. This has been horrible. And this was suppose to be our vacation !!! So disappointed. Just glad we aren’t in the hospital or worse. :( | Symptome: Durchfall, Fieber, Übelkeit, Erbrechen, Krämpfe, Kopfschmerz, Schwäche, Schwindel, Schüttelfrost
