Our trip was July, 2018. I was so incredibly ill, I spent the last 2 1/2 days of our trip in the room. I couldn't even eat bread or drink a sip of water. Got home, and went straight to the ER from the airport. They said it was food poisoning, and gave me some meds and sent me home. A few days later, I was having very intense abdominal attacks. Went back to the hospital. The admitted me and did abdominal surgery to cut the parasite out of my small intestine.Then they noticed a lot of fluid in my chest cavity. Turned out, that my lungs were leaking and I was building up fluid in my chest cavity. Then I read how people were dying from respiratory failure from this. All totaled, I underwent a total of 5 surgeries and spent 52 days in the hospital.2 abdominal surgeries, and 3 surgeries on my lungs. | Symptome: Durchfall, Fieber, Übelkeit, Erbrechen
