Be careful,of any and all so called Japanese restaurants in Montréal and suburbs. The majority of them are run by non-Japanese cooks who no little to nothing about the real art of Japanese cooking and are apt to the same kinds of food-borne illnesses of any other food shops. I doubt they are selling and cresting real japanese sushi and sashimi so be careful where and what you eat.
I think it might be the actual creamers…some places sell dairy substitutes and I know that in the past those creamers (athe not-real creamer substitutes) have oil-based properties and maybe even fake sugars which always make me sick.
I have never been able to eat brocoli—it is a food that has a high fiber ratio and it would give me the most horrible stomach cramps—similar to the childhood cramps—can’t remember the clinical name. Maybe that was the cause? Also, if you ate broccoli soup—in a dairy base—that could and would trip up someone who is just developing (someone who is younger, like kids, and teens and those people who are still learning about their bodies and growing. Did you cook the broccoli yourself, or was it already cooked? If the former and you cooked it then maybe it was something else in your meals, but if you bought it already cooked, then maybe they are the cause.
I bet you were in a movie theatre, right? I wish you had given a more extensive account of what you ate that day—24 hours prior to your illness. Vomiting is an extreme reaction to having consumed popcorn. I cannot see anyone getting sick from popcorn they make at home—were you in a movie theatre?—If so, the butter could have been rancid, but even then. I hope you are better.
I get stomach aches when I eat Macdonalds burgers—all my life, ever since I was a teenager. I can’t blame them but I realized that I was not able to,est them, it has something to do with the fat content, or cooking fats they use. Ai never got sick with Wendy’s or Burger asking—I also just stopped eating at MacDonald’s— decades ago. I eat a burger at Wendy’s about once every 7 years, and at Burger King I have eaten there maybe 10 times total in my adult life—and I am 65 years old. I just don’t think it is healthy to eat fast foods and rarely do.

If you bought weed from a government Quebec location, you should let them know. Also, if you are not getting enough sleep for days at a time—even just two days—you could be experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations, caused by the lack of sleep. It is NOT a psychological issue so don’t worry. The terms are Hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations. Both are sleep-related hallucinations. “Hypnogogic hallucinations happen as you're falling asleep and hypnopompic hallucinations happen as you're waking up.”
I hope you contacted your local, health department. This sounds like an improper food storage issue, like allowing the food to sit out too long before they refrigerated it.
I seriously doubt that the chips are the issue, as they are made/processed by a reputable company, which has been around for decades. Can you think of anything else you ate that day? If you really believe it was the chips—and it may be, since both of you have been sick, contact the store, and more importantly, the company, right away.
