Arrived for a birthday lunch around 12:30pm. The table shared jerk wings, conch fritters, and empanadas.I ordered the seafood paella. And the birthday girl ordered shots for the table after the meal.
Issue one was when I went to take my shot and saw that there was a flying insect in my shotglass (not a fly, but a striped bodied insect) - after I drank half of the shot. They replaced the shot with a double and comped it, but I didnt drink it and poured it in a cup of juice.
Issue two began around 4:30pm with an upset stomach and nausea. 10 mins later and I was vomiting. Continued to vomit 3 times and used the other end once.
It is now 5:30pm and am still dealing with diarrhea and stomach cramps.
Called the restaurant to let them know and was told “food poisoning usually takes between 8 and 15 hours for symptoms to show” by the GM. Not true, as symptom timing is based on the bacteria, but sure. | Symptome: Durchfall, Übelkeit, Erbrechen, Krämpfe
