Auchan Retail Services has voluntarily recalled its raw, frozen whole shrimp product due to the presence of Vibrio Vulnificus. The product was distributed across France in Auchan stores and other outlets selling Auchan-branded products.The recalled product is:
- The Auchan brand "Gambas Entieres Crues Decongelees Cal 30/40"
- Sold in 400g packaging.
- The affected batches are identified by the GTIN 3254562419603
- Include Lot numbers 74246, 74205, 74452, and 74526.
- The best-before dates range from 07/09/2024 to 11/09/2024.
- The products were sold in the self-service section of the traditional fishery department.
- The product was sold on August 27, 2024.
- Product to be kept in the refrigerator
- Health Mark: FR62160121CE
Consumers are advised to not consume the product and return it to where they purchased it.
