Carrefour, a prominent supermarket chain, has issued a recall for its Smoked Halibut product due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The product was sold in the fish section of select Carrefour stores in Belgium including locations in Flemalle, Waterloo, Gosselies, Koksijde, Shots, Nineve, Korbeek-Lo, Herstal, Edegem Molenveld, Borsbeek, Legs, Turnhout, and Bomerée.The recalled product is:
- Branded as Carrefour's "Smoked Halibut"
- With an EAN code starting with 2772876.
- The product was sold in the fish section from August 27, 2024.
Consumers are advised to not consume the product and return it to where they purchased it.
