Costco has issued a recall for its Tillamook Colby Jack and Monterey Jack cheese slices due to potential plastic contamination. The products were sold between May 9 and May 31, 2024. The recall was initiated after small quantities of gray and black plastic pieces were found in a limited quantity of Monterey Jack Cheese. The company is voluntarily removing the product from the marketplace as a precautionary measure.

The recalled product is:
- A 32 oz. twin-pack of Tillamook Colby Jack and Monterey Jack cheese slices.
- Item number 651195.
- The cheese has a "Best If Used By" date of October 22, 2024.

If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.
