CPA Cooperativa Pescatori Arborea, under the brand Nieddittas, has issued a recall for its Vongole Cuore (Cerastoderma spp.) due to the possible presence of algal biotoxins D.S.P., Okadaic acid. The product has been distributed nationwide.The recalled product is:
- Sold in 1kg packages
- Under the batch number CPA IT37CSMCE.
- The affected lots include 241078-30, 241078-31, 241078-01, 241078-02, 241099-02, 241099-03, 241114-03, 241114-04, and 241132-04.
- The product has a best-before date of 05/06/2024.
Consumers are advised to not consume the product and return it to the manufacturer.
