Funing Trading Limited is recalling a specific batch of its Huaseed brand Dried Kelp Slices due to an elevated level of inorganic arsenic. The product is sold at the following ethnic grocery stores and Tai Ping Asian Supermarkets in the Auckland area.

The recalled product is the Huaseed brand Dried Kelp Slices, sold in a 200g plastic package. The batch number for the recalled product is SC/T 3202.

Affected products should not be consumed. Customers should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.

If you or a loved one are harmed or experiencing any symptoms, it is important to report it. Reporting can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
