Lenoir-Thibaut 'Gribelle' raw milk butter recalled due to Listeria

5 months ago source favv-afsca.be business

Recall notice

48 Rue de Charleville, Gedinne, 5575 Région Wallonne, Belgium

Lenoir Pierre is recalling its Lenoir-Thibaut brand raw milk butter "Beurre de Gribelle" due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The recall affects both the salted and unsalted versions of the product. The product was sold at the company's own point of sale in Gedinne and at Intermarché.

The recalled butter:
- Is sold under the brand name "Gribelle"
- Comes in two sizes: 250 grams and 500 grams.
- The batch number for the recalled products is 06/24/2024
- The use-by date is also 06/24/2024.
- The product was sold between 06/03/24 to 06/13/24.
- The packaging for the butter is paper.

Lenoir Pierre asks its customers not to consume this product and to return it to the point of sale at which it was purchased, where it will be refunded.

In case you are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
