Food Safety Report: Leslie Clover Chips Barbecue recalled due to undeclared allergen

3 weeks ago source fsai.ie

Recall notice

Ireland

Leslie Clover has issued a recall for its Barbecue Chips due to the presence of cereals containing gluten that were not listed on the packaging. This may make the batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of gluten.

The recalled product is the Leslie Clover Chips Barbecue, available in two sizes: 85g and 145g. All batches of this product are included in the recall, regardless of their best-before dates. The chips were produced in the Netherlands. This oversight may pose a risk to consumers with gluten allergies or intolerances.

In case you experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
