Eurospin Italia SpA has issued a recall for its Pascoli Italiani brand Pecorino Sardo DOP maturo cheese due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The product has been distributed under the Argiolas Formaggi name through Italy.The recalled product is:
- a 300g package of Pecorino Sardo DOP maturo cheese
- Bearing the batch number 24178
- The identification mark IT 20 18 CE.
- The product has a best before date of 23/12/2024.
Consumers are advised not to consume the product and return it to the point of purchase.
