Pavillion 2 Beef and Gravy Pies recalled due to undeclared allergen

3 months ago source mpi.govt.nz

Recall notice

New Zealand

Gluten Free Holdings has issued a recall for a specific batch of its Pavillion brand Beef and Gravy Pies due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, milk. The company discovered that Pavillion brand Beef and Cheese Pies were incorrectly packaged into Pavillion brand Beef and Gravy Pies packaging. The pies are distributed at various supermarkets throughout New Zealand.

The product recalled is the Pavillion Brand Beef & Gravy Pies, sold frozen in 360g plastic and cardboard packaging. The batch marking is 17916, with a best before date of 08 JUL 25. This recall does not affect any other Pavillion brand products.

Customers are asked to check the batch and date mark on the box of the product. Those with a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. If consumed and any health concerns arise, medical advice should be sought.

In case you experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
